“Active aging” refers to an attitude towards life in which people forget about their age amidst a process of joyful learning. Today, as countries around the world gradually become aging societies, the ability to maintain physical and mental health, and achieve active ageing has become a critical issue. By demonstrating through four active ageing deities how people can stay healthy, joyful, vigorous and passionate even in their advanced years, the Museum of World Religions’s exhibition “The Active Ageing Troupe: Lifelong, Intense Passion” inspires colorful imagination among viewers about old age.
